Dear Mental Health Workers and Candidates;
As the Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies Association, we aimed to contribute skillfully to the training and application of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies in our country. For this purpose, we organized many trainings and activities. In addition, we publish the Journal of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy and Research, the first and only peer-reviewed international scientific publication in the field of CBT in our country. With our experience and knowledge gained over the years, we aimed to create a platform for our psychotherapists and researchers to align with the principles of sharing and cooperation.
Our association, founded in 2010, became a full member of the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) in 2013 and was accredited by EABCT in 2016, held the 1st and 2nd Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies Congresses in 2018 and 2020.
We are pleased to announce the great news of the 3rd Congress of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies with the theme of 'Living with Uncertainty', which we will organize as hybrid participation in Ankara between 29 September - 2 October 2022, in line with these goals. As the Covid-19 pandemic joins our lives, the increasing uncertainty makes itself felt more and more every day. We need Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to restore our confidence by increasing our tolerance for uncertainty more than ever. Our congress, which will be held with the participation of local and foreign trainers and researchers, each of whom has made significant contributions to the field of CBT, aims to cover all current issues related to CBT.
With the working groups to be organized before and during the congress, the participants will have the opportunity to increase their clinical skills and follow the current scientific developments. We are waiting for your poster and oral presentations, as well as your suggestions for activities such as panels, symposiums, and courses related to CBT that you want to take part in our congress.
